Meet Laura

Owner Laura Mulcahy started Savannah's Garden in 2003 while finishing a BS degree in Business Management. Always searching for different artistic outlets, Laura spent time painting and also worked in cake decorating for years before finding floral design at twenty one years old. Her passion was ignited and she never looked back, having now been designing for twenty years. Finding endless inspiration in nature and specifically the lush gardens of the south and Europe, Savannah's Garden's style was born from a love of the historic homes and gardens of places like Savannah, GA. and Charleston, SC. Blooming in Southern Style was an early slogan that still reflects her work to this day, even as trends flow through different styles like bohemian, minimalist, romantic garden, nautical, and more. Her passion has only increased as the years have gone by, and she will tell you she loves it more each season. It's absolutely true when you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. She treats every wedding like it's for a family member and pays attention to every last detail, making sure the day is perfect. And sometimes, Laura designs the flowers and is also a bridesmaid in the same wedding too! This was a family wedding from a few years back.
